Loading page contentPortfolio website for a Nicosia-based architecture firm showcasing residential developments, commercial projects, and landmark structures.
GDM Architecture is one of Nicosia's established architecture practices, with a portfolio spanning residential developments like Nexus Suites, Stadiou Residences, and Paladia Residences, alongside commercial buildings and landmark structures across Cyprus. Despite a growing body of high-profile work, the firm's online presence didn't reflect the quality or ambition of what they were designing and building.
Their previous website was dated, difficult to navigate, and unable to present architectural projects in the immersive, visually rich way the work demanded. Project images were compressed and poorly displayed, there was no structured way to filter or explore the portfolio by typology, and the firm had no ability to update content without developer involvement.
GDM needed a portfolio website that would serve as a genuine business development tool — one that conveyed the firm's design philosophy at first glance, presented projects with the visual impact they deserved, and positioned GDM as a practice that developers, investors, and private clients would want to engage.
Techlink worked closely with GDM's founding partners to understand how the firm wins work and what prospective clients look for when evaluating an architecture practice online. We studied competitor sites across Cyprus and internationally, identifying what separates portfolio websites that generate enquiries from those that simply exist.
The design direction was established early: minimal UI, maximum visual real estate, and a navigation structure that lets the architecture do the talking. Every layout decision was tested against the question of whether it enhanced or competed with the project imagery.
We delivered a custom WordPress theme built specifically for architectural portfolio presentation. The homepage opens with a curated selection of hero project images that cycle through the firm's strongest work, immediately establishing visual credibility. The portfolio section supports filtering by project typology — residential, commercial, landmark — with each project page designed as a visual narrative: full-width renders, plans, material details, and photography presented in a carefully sequenced layout.
Beyond the portfolio, the site includes team profiles with bios and credentials, a structured design process page that communicates how GDM works with clients from concept through completion, and a news and awards section for press coverage and industry recognition. The entire site is CMS-managed, allowing GDM's team to add new projects, publish news, and update content without developer support.
We'd love to achieve results like these for your business too.
